Train to Busan Wiki

Suk-gyu is the true main antagonist of Seoul Station.

He is was voiced by Ryu Seung-ryong.

Appearances[]

Suk-Gyu was a fully grown adult with short black hair. He wore a stripped short sleeved shirt and sand colored jeans.

Personality[]

Initially, Suk-Gyu was believed to be a caring person as Hye-Sun called him her father. But in reality he was a greedy and heartless person who only cared about himself and did whatever it took to get money. However, his greed is what led to his demise as he let his guard down around Hye-Sun, as he didn’t realize that she was infected and ended up either dead or infected by her.

History[]

Suk-Gyu was only mentioned by Hye-Sun as her father but never told Ki-Woong about his true nature.

It was eventually revealed that Suk-Gyu was actually Hye-Sun’s pimp and had been prostituting and underpaying her. She also revealed that Suk-Gyu had stolen her parent’s inheritance that was left to her and had been using it for himself. Hye-Sun eventually stole back her inheritance and hid it before the outbreak began.

When the two of them reunited, Suk-Gyu demanded that she return the money she stole from him, but she refused and was beaten. Ki-Woong attempted to save her, but he was killed after Suk-Gyu stabbed him to death. However unbeknownst to him, Hye-Sun had been infected before reaching him and ended up losing her mind.

Suk-Gyu was last shown being attacked by the infected Hye-Sun and screaming in horror as he was attacked and presumably infected or killed by her.

Trivia[]
