Min-ji, full name Jeong Min-ji (정민지), is a minor character in Train to Busan. She is portrayed by Woo Do-im.
History[]
Min-ji is a Korean-Japanese train attendant girl on the train where the film is mainly set. She was born in 1992 on September 7 in the city of Fukuoka, Japan with Korean ethnicity, and moved back to South Korea when she was a teenager.
Min-ji first appears in the movie as passengers are boarding the train. She stands besides the train doors welcoming passengers aboard. Two passengers walk up to her and ask where car number four is, and she tells them that car four is to their right.
After the train departs, Min-ji is shown walking through the connection between one train car and another, where an infected woman is lying on the ground dead and turning into a zombie. Concerned for the woman's health, Min-ji quickly grabs her radio and asks for help in checking the zombifying woman's health situation, getting no response in return. Worried, she turns her back on the woman and fiddles with her radio while the woman turns into a zombie. When she notices the infected woman, a horrified Min-ji drops her radio and staggers backwards. She is attacked and bitten by the zombie, becoming infected and turning into a zombie then attacking more people, starting the zombie outbreak on the train. She was later seen roaming around in one of the train carriages without one shoe during the emergency broadcast on TV. After that she wasn't seen for the rest of the movie but she most likely died when the train crashed.
