Jong il
Jong-gil is a supporting character in Train to Busan.
She is portrayed by Park Myung-sin. She is the younger sister of In-gil, who was bitten and turned. Soon after this, when survivors traveling from another part of the train are thrown out by her section, she turns on them, deeming them foolish, and lets in a flood of zombies, leaving only two people alive.
Plot[]
Jong-gil was shown early on in the movie being saved by Jin-hee after she was being chased by some infected people.
Afterwards, she is shown in a separate train car with Yong-suk who had taken leadership of the people in their train car. He convinced everyone to isolate themselves and abandon those on the outside, although she and her sister In-gil felt different about it. When Seok-woo and his group tried to enter their train car, Yong-suk attempted to stop them but was eventually overpowered. Jong-gil could only watch in horror as her older sister In-gil was left trapped outside the first door and ended up being infected herself.
Jong-gil watched as Yong-suk and the others forced Seok-woo and his group to leave their train car and proceeded to seal the door behind them. Jong-gil angered and grief stricken that her sister had died trying to help these greedy people saw her sister behind the door with the other infected people. She decided that those in her train car were not worth saving and intentionally opened the door to let the infected into their train car, where she and most of the other people were infected and killed.

- Jong-gil caused the most deaths and infections out of any character as she wanted to avenge her old sister who died due to the actions in her train car and intentionally allowed the infected to enter their car.
